Pradhan duo wins Rio

KATHMANDU: Rabindra and Nirmala Pradhan won the bumper prize of - Kia Rio car of Lumbini Bank’s ‘Lumbini Bachat Yojana’. Pradhan couple with the account number 10810536 at Durbar Marg branch was declared winner through a lucky draw. The participating accountholders had to maintain Rs 50,000 minimum balance. The bank has been providing five per cent interest and free debit card, SMS banking, good for payment and ABBS facilities through a special counter, states a press release. Shrestha Delhi-bound

KATHMANDU: Dhruba Narayan Shrestha, president of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents left for New Delhi on Friday to take part in the silver jubilee year convention of the Indian Association of Tour Operators to be held from September 1-3. The event is being inaugurated by Indian prime minister at Vigyan Bhawan on September 1. In the IATO convention, Shrestha will request to enlist Nepal as an additional destination for the Indian civil servants. — HNS
