HAN shows concern

KATHMANDU: Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) has asked the government for an effective mechanism to control poaching of rhinoceros in Chitwan. A delegation of hoteliers and HAN Chitwan chapter led by its president Prakash Shrestha met with Dr Uday Raj Sharma, secretary at the ministry of forestry and soil conservation on Friday and urged for necessary steps for the protection of rhinoceros. — HNS

CNI talk programme

KATHMANDU: Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) is organising a talk programme on ‘Post Conflict Economic-Sri Lanka’s Experience’ on Sunday, with Ranil Wickremesinghe, leader of the opposition and former prime minister of Sri Lanka as a keynote speaker.
