KBL’s lucky winners

KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank Ltd (KBL) has announced the lucky winner of the fifth lottery under saving scheme - Bank ma Balance, Haatma Ghar’ for the month of Poush. Talak Bahadur Karki won a Nokia Mobile set. Under advantage plus account, Sunita Pradhan won fixed deposits worth Rs 20,000, while Kamlesh Maheshwari and Sarita Pradhan each won Rs 10,000, respectively. Kamal Prasad Bhattarai and Sita Devi Khanal won Rs 5,000 each. —HNS

NEA to collect dues

HETAUDA: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Hetauda branch is set to collect tariff dues. NEA showed its readiness after an all party meeting of six parties, including the Maoists. NEA had been unable to raise dues from rural areas except in the northern VDCs of the district for the last seven years, as the CPN-Maoist did not allow it. — RSS
