NIBL’s 20pc dividend :

KATHMANDU: Nepal Investment Bank Ltd (NIBL) has decided to give 20 per cent dividends to its shareholders, says a company press statement issued here today. Along with that, bonus shares at 35.46 per cent on its paid up capital of Rs 590.586 million is also being issued. The bonus issue of 35.46 per cent is proposed to make the paid-capital of the bank to Rs 800 million as per the requirements of Nepal Rastra Bank. The bank achieved a growth of 33 per cent in its total assets in 2005-06 compared to last fiscal. The bank also exceeded its profit after tax to Rs 350 million which is a above 50 per cent growth as compared to the previous year, says the statement. — HNS

Lucky draw unveiled :

KATHMANDU: Bivhuti Store, located at Golfutar has got 15” LG Flatron TV drawn under the lucky draw scheme initiated by Barun Beverages (Nepal) Pvt Ltd, says a press release issued by the company here today. The programme, called Pepsi Summer Blast, has been running from April to July 2006 among retail businesspersons.
