Bluebell herbal products bags int’l leadership award

Bluebell herbal products has been awarded with an ‘International Award for Business Leadership and Prestige’ by the Trade Leaders’ Club of Spain.

According to a press release issued here today by the company, the covetous award will be handed over to the selected companies from around the world on May 24 in Bern, Switzerland.

Bluebell herbal products is a company run and managed by a family that is in the world of Ayurveda which manufactures a variety of Ayurvedic, health and beauty-care products, said managing director Riddhi Amatya.

“Apparently it has been awarded us in appreciation of our commitment to conservation and creativity, and fully complying with the internationally-recognised cleaner production (CP) and Fair Trade (FT) practices,” director Amatya added.

Furthermore, for the first time in Nepal, we have manufactured Aloe vera oil, Aloe vera skincare cream, Aloe vera capsules, Ayurvedic sunscreen oil, Ayurvedic anti-wrinkle salve and medicated ghee, Amatya said.

Presently, the company is associated with the DANIDA-aided Institute of Environmental Management (IEM), Fair Trade Group-Nepal (FTG-N) and the Women into the New Network for Entrepreneurial Reinforcement (WINNER).

The company is also frontrunner to represent Nepal in an international trade fair and conference on herbs and herbal products.

It had participated in the Sixth Aroma Herb Show-2002 organised by the International Aromatherapy & Herb Association (IAHA) in Arizona, USA from February 22-24, 2002.

The company had also made a 50-minute presentation on the ‘Herbs from the Himalayas’ at the three-day international event.
