Kathmandu: Asian Thai Foods Pvt Ltd has launched its new multimedia campaign, 2pm Reloaded- Slim and Tasty, Prize ma masti.

“2pm Reloaded offers consumers, improved new 2pm and an exciting scheme with millions of cash prize,” states a press release. “Improved new 2pm is the result of the company’s effort to provide its consumers with better tasting noodles.”

Now 2pm noodles has slimmer strands that makes it well-souped and much tasty. Further, its slimness makes it more crunchier — a delight to eat, also, it claims. The 2pm Reloaded scheme consists of an interesting game. “A customer can get a coupon inside every 2pm packet. The coupon can help win cash,” it states. The campaign watteez — the spoken term for ‘What is’ — is used to express various things- surprise, confusion, greeting and finally excitement of improved new 2pm with lots of prizes. — HNS

ZTE modem

Kathmandu: Ohm Solution Pvt Ltd launched ZTE MZ16 USB EDGE Modem that is a Quad-Band wide area wireless network modem supporting all different frequencies used by EDGE and GSM/GPRS network. It has also laun-ched MG 880 CDMA2000 1X Wireless data Terminal equipped with USB Interface and MC 315+CDMA 2000 1X Wireless Data Terminal of PCMCI type from ZTE Corporation.

Wipro brings product range

Kathmandu: Wipro, India’s leading IT company, has made its debut into Nepali market by appointing its authorised dealer - Neoteric Nepal Pvt Ltd.

Wipro also unveiled its entire range of notebooks, desktop personal computers, and servers for Nepal.

“This tie up is aimed at catering to the surging demands of computers and other hardware products in Nepal,” said Sanjay Golchha, Neoteric’s managing director. “This will help to bridge the digital divide and offer computer products of better quality in better price to Nepali consumers. The products would be made available in market thro-ugh Neoteric’s authorised channel partners, distributors and resellers across the country,” he added.

Anil Pant, National Manager - Channels of Wipro’s PC Division, also introduced the Tiffin-box sized desktop PC- Protos.

WorldLink’s VoIP service

Kathmandu: WorldLink Communications Pvt Ltd, one of the largest Internet Service Providers (ISP), has launched a voice-over-IP (VolP) service in partnership with Net2Phone, USA.

Using VoIP service, any Internet user can make low-cost international cal-ls to anywhere outside Ne-pal. “The service may be purchased in the form of prepaid Internet phone cards of Rs 250 and Rs 500 from WorldLink branches and outlets in Kathmandu,” states a press note.

Within the next month, this service will be launched in other parts of the country also. For the first time in Nepal, Internet users can make VolP calls legally and at highly affordable rates, at Rs 4 per minute to USA, Rs 8 per minutes to India and Rs 1 per minutes to Saudi Arabia, claims WorldLink.
