Sony brings new TVs
Kathmandu: Nepa Hima Trade Link — the authorised distributor of Sony — has introduced a new range of LCD TV called BRAVIA. Sony’s newest brand, BRAVIA, introduces the next generation of LCD TV that showcase Sony technological expertise, states a press release issued today.
BRAVIA stands for ‘Best Resolution Audio Video Integrated Architecture’. The company states that Sony BRAVIA will open the whole new dimension of style and soul enriching audiovisual experience with it’s V series, available in 26”, 32” & 40”; B series, available in 20” & 15” and S series, available in 23”, 26”, 32” & 40”.
BRAVIA brings three key advances to LCD televisions: larger colour gamut, higher refresh rates, and televisions that automatically adjust to ambient light conditions is ably supported by powerful 1 Mega Pixel LCD panels, states the press note. Sony BRAVIA not only connects with handy cam and digital camera but also connects with PC as it boast features like PC Input and USB Interface.
Pride in the market Lalitpur: Perfect Blends Nepal Pvt Ltd (PBNPL), a subsidiary of Chaudhary Group (CG), launched Pride Luxury Kings cigarette in Kathmandu.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, A K Dwivedi, deputy general manager at PBNPL said, “Pride has been introduced in Kathmandu after a thorough study of the market and consumers’ demand.”
It is a domestic brand produced under the minute supervision of experts from the tobacco field, using finest Virginia tobacco, he said. “The 24 mm long filter makes it the only international size filter in its class. The size of the filter enhances flavouring and filtration of nicotine,” said Nirvan Chaudhary, ma-naging director at CG.
“Providing world class quality at affordable prices so that people at large can have access to these products have been the motto of CG and we believe the recent launch proves that we are committed towards what we envisage,” said Chaudhary.
Pride Luxury Kings is available in 20’s pack and has been priced at Rs 33 per pack.
