Brand watch: Yamaha launches improved Libero LX

Morang Auto Works (MAW), the authorised distributor of Yamaha motorcycles for Nepal, has launched a new Libero LX with a tagline of ‘Even more No Samjhauta Bike’. The new machine comes with additional value for its customer on price, warranty (three years warranty on engine) and service (five year free service) along with technological upgradations. The latest offering from Yamaha is an advanced technological design of Libero, loaded with enhanced features to appeal to the changing needs of discerning Nepali commuters. Responding to the needs of the two-wheeler market, Yamaha has introduced a new model of the Libero, sporting an all-new fuel indicator panel and a new Air Induction System (A.I.S), states a press release issued here today.
The design concept for exterior styling of Libero LX mixes solidity with comfort. The new double seat with double cushioning offers the rider and the passenger comfortable and ample space. The new seat design significantly improves the rider’s ground contact while keeping the knee bending angle within comfortable limits while riding. Dynamic graphics on cover tails and side covers enhance the visual appeal and gives the bike its special shape and look, adds the release.
The Libero LX comes with 106cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled SOHC advantech engine that delivers optimum power, excellent mileage of 85 kmpl and a smooth gearshift. Front and rear tyres sport a new pattern for better road grip in all kinds of weather conditions. Moreover, with highest suspension of 120 mm in its category and wheelbase of 1290mm and ground clearance of 173mm ensures stability, better cornering and comfortable ride. Taillight with multi reflectors provide increased road safety to the rider during night time. The new Libero LX comes at a price of Rs 1,02,900.
