Buddha Air to operate flights to Kolkata from May-end

KATHMANDU: Buddha Air, the leading air service provider in the private sector, is all set to operate flights to Kolkata, India from May-end.

The airlines had planned to start flights to the eastern Indian city from mid-April. However, it changed its flight dates considering upcoming parliamentary elections.

Although the date of the flights has been changed due to the elections, the flight schedule remains unchanged, the Buddha Air stated in a press release today.

Buddha Air will operate its flights to Kolkata with the ATR 72-500 aircraft. It will operate three regular flights in a week, it said in the statement.

The flights would be operated on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week.
