Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) felicitated various organisations, professionals and individuals for their efforts made for the development of Information Technology (IT) in the country. Sharad Chandra Shaha, vice-chairman, High Level commission for Information and Technology (HLCIT) and Biplav Man Singh, president CAN, gave way appreciation plaques at a programme organised to commemorate the 13th anniversary of CAN. IT professionals Neel Kantha Uprety and Timila Yami Thapa, Beltronix Pvt Ltd, Nepal Telecom Company and Institute of Engineering (IOE) were honoured for their contributions made in respective sectors for the development of IT industry in Nepal.
