CG Finco holds agent meet
Kathmandu, June 9:
CG Finco, a financial enterprise of Chaudhary Group, held the annual agent conference 2007 yesterday, to mark its fifth anniversary.
Binod Kumar Chaudhary, president and managing director of Chaudhary Group, expressed that the efforts of CG Finco to help build the economy by facilitating inward remittance flow. Highlighting the potential of remittance business in the coming years, he stressed the need to develop strategies to effectively move ahead in the long term.
Chaudhary also suggested to channelise the remittances into productive sectors to facilitate capital formation for growth of the economy.
Nirvana Chaudhary, chairman of CG Finco briefed about the company’s some new projects and said that the company plans to grow simultaneously with its partners and agents.
Ashish Sharma, deputy general manager, CG Finco shared the future plans, while Atish Shrestha, country head of Western Union Money Transfer Services, Nepal highlighted some of the strategies that Western Union is planning to introduce in near future.
Binod Chaudhary gave away certification of appreciation and memento to all agent partners and performance awards to the top five agents of CG Finco.
CG Finco, a super agent of Western Union Money Transfer, has the largest network with 350 outlets in Nepal.
