China Southern Airlines in Nepal
Kathmandu, January 3:
China’s premier air transportation enterprise China Southern Airlines (CSA) is all set to begin operations in Nepal from January 22, 2007.
The flagship concern of China Southern Air Holding Company, CSA services more than 600 domestic and international routes across 142 destinations worldwide.
Having carried 44.12 million passengers in 2005, China Southern Airlines has been ranked as the largest airlines in China for the 27th consecutive year.
It has 38 international offices located at major metropolitan markets around the world including Amsterdam, Ho Chi Minh City, Los Angeles, Paris, Singapore, Seoul, Sharjah, Sydney and Tokyo.
CSA’s Boeing 757s will be conducting two direct flights per week from Kathmandu to Guangzhou on Mondays and Fridays, tentatively scheduled for departure from Tribhuvan International Airport at 11:45 pm NST.
The 4 hours and 15 minutes flight priced at Rs 43,000 (exclusive of taxes) is poised to serve as the air link between Nepal and the world.
