Kathmandu, August 14:

Richard Christenson, senior economic advisor of the US for South Asia, met with Kritinidhi Bista, vice-chairman of the Council of Ministers at the later’s residence in Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu today. James F Moriarty, US ambassador to Nepal was also present during the meeting. On the occasion, they discussed on several issues like SAARC process and regional issues. Christenson reiterated the US interest in development of hydropower, tourism and agriculture in Nepal.
