KATHMANDU: Civil Bank has appointed Govinda Gurung, the current Acting Chief Executive Officer of the bank as its CEO from Sunday.

Gurung has working experience of two decades in the Nepali banking industry. He started his banking career at Himalayan Bank in 1996 and also served at Global IME Bank and Mega Bank.

Gurung has been associated with Civil Bank since the last five years. After being appointed as CEO, Gurung expressed his commitment to improve the work culture and provide the best returns to all the stakeholders, as per a statement issued by Civil Bank today.
