Civil Bank expands

KATHMANDU: Civil Bank has opened two new branches in Lamjung. The bank opened its 56th branch in Dudhpokhari VDC 6, on Friday and the 57th branch in Kwhlosothar VDC 2, on Saturday.

The branches were inaugurated by Ramji Regmi, board director of Nepal Rastra Bank. In a press statement, Civil Bank has mentioned that it was able to earn net profit of over Rs 210 million in the second quadrimester of the ongoing fiscal year, which is an increase of 31 per cent compared to the corresponding period of the last fiscal.

The bank also added that it will increase the number of branches to 57 soon.
