Civil’s 8th anniversary

KATHMANDU: Civil Bank celebrated its eighth anniversary on Monday.

The bank started the celebrations by organising a tree plantation programme in the Pashupatinath Temple area. The programme was chaired by Ichchha Raj Tamang, chairman of the bank. Civil Bank planted 300 trees on the occasion and has taken the responsibility to nurture the trees for a period of five years, the bank said in a statement.

Moreover, the bank also held blood donation camps at its head office and in major cities across the country. It also provided scholarships to meritorious and financially weak students studying in government schools in rural areas.Â
