Coca-Cola launches ‘Music Bhanekai Masti’ offer

In an attempt to catch the interest of consumers and popularise Nepali music, Coca-Cola has launched the ‘Music Bhanekai Masti’ summer UTC offer. This offer is applicable in all the packs of Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite, in the 175ml, 200ml, 250ml and the PET packs of 500 ml and 1,500 ml packs. The promotion is being launched with an advertising campaign in TV commercials, radio commercials, FM programmes, press, hoardings, banners, posters and danglers. The same message will also be carried on lakhs of PET bottle labels. Since the ‘Music Bhanekai Masti’ offer is based on music, the prizes also reflect the passion for music, states a press release issued by the company.
Prizes include 50 Samsung DVD Players, 500 Coca-Cola Can Radios, 20,000 Music Bhanekai Masti Audio Cassettes and lakhs of free drinks and Rs 5-off offers. The grand prize, the Samsung DVD Player is billed as the slimmest DVD player in the world. The audio cassettes has numbers from today’s top pop artists in Nepal life Deepak Bajracharya, Dipesh Bhattarai, Nima Rumba, Nalina Chitrakar, Prakash Ojha, Nabin Bhattarai, Ram Krisna Dhakal, Pramod Upadhaya, Dhiraj Rai and 1974 AD.
“Special promotion of these cassettes will promote the Nepali music among the Coca Cola consumers,” claims the press release. There are special redemption centres only for the valley where winners can redeem radios and cassettes. The DVD can be collected from distributor points or the factory. The other prizes of Rs 5 off and one free drink can be redeemed any retail shop.
