KATHMANDU: The three-day construction equipment and technology exhibition — ConMac 2018 — was inaugurated on Thursday by Minister of  Physical Infrastructure and Transport Raghubir Mahaseth in the presence of Ambassador of India to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri.

The exhibition will go on till November 24 at Sallaghari  Open Ground, Bhaktapur. More than 150 business exhibitors and companies from India are showcasing their products and services during this exhibition, including some of the largest companies such as JCB, L and T, Hyundai, Caterpillar and Tata Hitachi, among others.

The exhibition aims to bring together companies involved in the construction industry in Nepal and India to further enhance the already high level of engagement within the industry. With more than 200,000 sq ft of display area, the exhibition is Nepal’s largest exhibition of construction equipment.
