KATHMANDU: Nepal Dairy Association (NDA) has requested all dairy consumers to encourage dairy farmers by consuming milk and its products. It may be noted that consumption of milk has declined sharply in various urban areas of the country including Kathmandu, following revelation of high percentage of harmful bacterial in milk produced by different dairy industries. In a statement released by the association, it has been stated that decline in milk consumption has affected some 30,000 farmer families. — RSS
