Cosmic Air adds new fokker 100

Cosmic Air is acquiring a third Fokker 100 jet aircraft. The aircraft will be in Kathmandu on February 28. With the arrival of the third Fokker 100, the other two jet air crafts currently in the fleet will be scheduled for their ‘A’ checks — one at a time, states a press release issued here today.
Cosmic Air, with its third jet, will be the first airline that will be operating three times to New Delhi. In addition to the international flights to be operated by the jet, it will also fly on the Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu route.
The 105 seater aircraft is the popular short and medium haul aircraft in Europe and the US. Powered by Rolls Royce engines and equipped with all modern equipment necessary in a modern jetliner and in accordance with ICAO regulation, the new Fokker will give new dimension to the service being provided by the Cosmic Air, adds the release.
Cosmic Air currently has permission to fly to Lucknow and Varanasi from Bhairahawa. It is also set to fly to other destinations includes Paro of Bhutan, Mumbai, Banglore, Kolkatta of India etc.
