CRF aids flood-hit in Kailali, Kanchanpur

Kathmandu, September 23:

Confederation of Nepali Industries, managing the Citizens’ Relief Fund (CRF) for flood-hit people, has extended its relief programme to Kailali and Kanchanpur districts.

Coordinating with the Home Ministry’s committee for natural disaster mitigation, CRF provided 200 cartons of noodles, 30 cartons of biscuits and 15 cases of medicines worth Rs 1,97,000 for flood-hit people to be distributed through district committees for natural

disaster mitigation.

A press statement by CRF coordinator Dr Pradip Bhattarai said CRF steering committee member Ashish Sharma oversaw the handing over of the relief materials to Nepal Army personnel for forwarding these to the district committees for natural disaster mitigation.

CNI and Maha Sanchar — a Madan Krishna Shrestha and Haribansha Acharya social initiative venture — jointly arranged for the relief materials for the flood-affected.
