Kathmandu, December 23:

Dabur Nepal Pvt Ltd announced the winners of ‘Hajmola Khane Bahana’ contest held from September 1 to November 30.

Under the contest, the participants had to come up with funny reasons and alibis and excuses to enjoy Hajmola. They were required to submit their bahana — reasons — along with four empty sachets or labels from any Hajmola bottle and send it to Post Box 14375. All together 2,425 participants had sent their entries for the contest, according to the company.

Shreeya Rani Shrestha of Balaju won the first prize and bagged a purse of Rs 100,000. Lokendra Adhikari of Kalanki was adjudged second and given a personal computer (PC). Namita Nepal of Kakarbhitta won the third prize of LG microwave oven and Aashish Thapa of Nawalparasi was awarded a LG phone as a consolation prize. Other 150 early bird participants were also given a wall clock each and the best bahana of the week was given a VIP suitcase.
