Dabur RSoN 2017
KATHMANDU: The eighth regional final of Real School of Nepal (RSoN) 2017 has successfully ended for the eastern region-Biratnagar on Tuesday.
The regional champion for the eastern region-Biratnagar was Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir (BKVM) and the participating students were Sasank Kashyap, Aarya Thapa, Prajwal Dulal, Swopnil Rai, Rhythyme Mandal and Uttam Tamang, as per a media release.
They will participate in the grand finale to become the Real School of Nepal 2017 in Kathmandu. The winners in the senior category were Sneha Koirala from Sacred Heart English School for ‘Extempore’, Grishma Thapa Magar from Eureka Residential Secondary School for ‘Dance’, and Sanjiv Gahatraj from Itahari Nobel Academy for ‘Football Juggling’.
The winners in the junior category were Sailesh Agrawal from Eureka Residential Secondary School for ‘Painting’, Ranjan Katwal from Paragon Academy Higher Secondary School for ‘3 Minutes to Fame’ and Uttam Tamang from Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir for ‘Score the Real Goal’. Scholarships of Rs 25,000 were granted to two needy and talented students — Abhishek Chaudhari and Yekata Bhattarai.
The ninth regional final will be held in central region-Birgunj on July 21.
