Dabur RSoN 2017

KATHMANDU: The first regional final of Dabur Real School of Nepal (RSoN) 2017 has successfully ended for the western region — Butwal — on Monday.

The regional champion for the western region is Paramount Higher Secondary English Boarding School and the participating students were Archana Aryal, Prastik Thapa, Prabin Kharel, Bishu Gurung, Prajuna Adhikari and Ankit Rajkoti, as per a media release.

They will participate in the grand finale to become the Real School of Nepal 2017 in Kathmandu. Also, the winners for senior category includes Sudeep Bhushal from Lumbini Boarding School for ‘Extempore’, Prastik Thapa from Paramount Higher Secondary English Boarding School for ‘Dance’ and Prabin Kharel from Paramount Higher Secondary English Boarding School for ‘Football Juggling’.

In the junior category, Sabina Shaha from Apex School was the winner in ‘Painting’, Rupa Rautar from Deep Boarding Higher Secondary School in ‘Three Minutes to Fame’ and Ankit Rajkoti from Paramount Higher Secondary English Boarding School in ‘Score the Real Goal’. Scholarships for two needy and talented students of Rs 25,000 were handed to Prabesh Basnet and Preeti Nepali (a boy and a girl). The second regional final will be held in central region — Narayanghat on June 7.
