KATHMANDU: The third regional final of Real School of Nepal (RSoN) 2017 successfully ended for the western region — Pokhara — on Friday.

The regional champion for the western region - Pokhara was Global Collegiate School and the participating students were Utsav Sharma, Binita Nepali, Aayush Gurung, Anupam Rijal, Bikram BK and Sujan Budathoki, as per a media release.

They will participate in the grand finale to become the Real School of Nepal 2017 in Kathmandu. The winners in senior category for ‘extempore’ was Utsav Sharma from Global Collegiate School, for ‘dance’ was Anjana Gurung from Kanchanjunga Academic Centre, for ‘football juggling’ was Sagar Malla from Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya.

The winners in junior category for ‘painting’ was Sabina BK from Step by Step Secondary School, for ‘3 minutes to fame’ was Subod Chaulagain from Junior Citizens’ Academy and Sujan Budathoki from Global Collegiate School for ‘score the Real goal’. Scholarships of Rs 25,000 for two needy and talented students were given to Adhish Tiwari and Sadiksha Adhikari (a boy and a girl). The fourth regional final will be held in central region-Kathmandu East on June 20.
