JANAKPUR: The District Development Committee (DDC), Dhanusha has allocated Rs 302.8 million for the fiscal year 2009-10. The budgetary allocation has been made under the social transformation development programme focusing on the problems of the poverty-stricken population. It is believed that the budget allocated will improve the infrastructure development in the district, such as roads. According to the programmes presented by the 15th District Council, major budgetary allocations have been made under the heads of agriculture development, infrastructure development, rural livelihood support and promotion of inclusiveness programme.
