KATHMANDU, AUGUST 13

MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Nepal's No. 1 luxury electric vehicle brand Deepal, is set to launch the all-new Deepal S05 SUV this week, aiming to redefine the country's EV compact segment with its blend of premium design, advanced features, and cutting-edge technology.

Following the success of the Deepal S07, the S05 comes with an aerodynamic silhouette, frameless doors, and star-feather-inspired LED taillights - a design that won the prestigious iF Design Award 2025.

Inside, the SUV offers Nepal's first Queen Co-Pilot seat with zero-gravity comfort, ventilation, memory function, and a one-touch nap mode. Other highlights include a 14-speaker surround sound system with outdoor playback, a spacious 160-liter frunk, and refined interior finishes.

On the tech front, the S05 introduces Remote In & Out parking - a first in its segment - along with ADAS 2.0 featuring 19 safety functions and an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display projecting live navigation, traffic updates, and speed data onto the windshield.

Powered by CATL's Golden Shield Battery System 2.0, the vehicle promises a 600,000 km lifespan, rapid charging from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes, and strong cold-weather performance - catering to Nepal's varied terrains and climates.

MAW Vriddhi expects the S05 to strengthen Deepal's dominance in Nepal's EV market, building on the momentum created by the S07.
