Dynamic Air gets permission to operate intl flights

KATHMANDU: The government has finally decided to grant permission to Dynamic Air to operate international flights.

After completion of all the required procedures, including deposits and agreements, the government is all set to grant the permission to the Dynamic Air to operate international flights.

The government has already granted such permissions to Buddha Air, Shree Airlines and Unity International to operate international flights.

Similarly, to identify and promote new mountaineering destination, and to grant facility to mountaineers, Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation has formed a 15-member task force which after a study will submit a report within 15 days.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the 50 years of Dhaulagiri Summit, the government has formed a 12-member Dhaulagiri Summit Golden Jubilee Main Organising Committee under the leadership of Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation secretary.

The event is scheduled to be held on May 1.

On the occasion, Reinhold Messner will be felicitated as First Dhaulagiri Summiteers.

In yet another development today, the government has constituted a sixteen member main organising committee to mark the Everest Day (Sagarmatha day) slated for May 29, officials at the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation said.

An international seminar of Everest summiteers will also be held on the occasion.

The event to be organised by Save the Himalayas will be coordinated by the Minister

for Tourism and Civil

Aviation Sarat Singh Bhandari.

Meanwhile, the ministry has also organised a capacity building and Mobile Out Reach Programme for Nepal Tourism Year 2011 in which more than 350 people were trained.

The training focussing on Small Hotel and Lodge Management, Tourism Awareness, Nature Guide, Trekking Guide, Homestay, and Eco-Tourism was held in Bhaktapur, Nagarkot, Chitwan, Dolkha, Sindhupalchowk, Shyangja, Baglung, Rasuwa, Mugu, Kailali, and Gorkha.
