KATHMANDU, JANUARY 21

With an aim to provide convenient and affordable taxi service while keeping the safety and needs of the passengers in top priority, e-Cab Nepal was launched on Friday.

The service was formally launched by Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Rajendra Prasad Pandey.

This is the first app with QR code and the service user can make digital payment or cash payment, as per a media release.

The app user can also book transport for relatives and friends and even schedule bookings for future. Moreover, for those lacking internet access, cabs can be booked by calling their call centre.
