EDC, CNESA sign pact
KATHMANDU: Energy Development Council (EDC) and China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The MoU was signed by Itnuma Subba, executive manager of EDC and Vivian Liu, deputy general secretary of CNESA. The agreement is expected to create a healthy environment that will promote development of energy storage technology and capability.
Both parties have agreed to share information and collaborate on engaging with all the stakeholders in the energy storage industry including but not limited to: regulatory organisations, vendors, technology companies, governmental departments, non-governmental organisations, and others.
The two sides have also agreed to appoint and recognise liaisons for helping coordinate activities between the parties, and to establish forums for timely and open exchange of information on any current or planned activities involving a broad array of stakeholders.
