FinMin consults officials on current economy
KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara has held discussions with two secretaries at the Ministry and Governor of the central bank on the current economic conditions of the country.
The meeting was held at the Ministry today.
Issues related to increasing capital expenditure, shortage of liquidity in share market, controlling of revenue leakage and meeting the target of revenue collection among others were discussed in the meeting.
The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Dr Chiranjibi Nepal, Finance Secretary Shantaraj Subedi and Revenue Secretary Rajan Khanal had apprised the Minister of the progress on budget implementation, efficiency of monitory policy, target and challenges of revenue collection among others issues.
