FNCCI delegation in Pakistan

A four-member delegation led by the first vice-president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and coordinator of Nepal-Pakistan Economic Group, Binod Bahadur Shrestha left here on Wednesday on a five-day tour of Pakistan.According to a press release, the delegation will take part in a meeting of Nepal-Pakistan Joint Business Council (JBC) to be hosted by the Federation of Pakistani Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FPCCI) on April 18. The JBC was found in 1996 under the initiative of FNCCI and FPCCI to boost bilateral trade between the two countries as per guidelines adopted by the Joint Economic Council of Nepal and Pakistan.The delegation will also discuss with its Pakistani counterparts opportunities of joint investment in Nepal. It will also hold meetings with the Consulate General in Islamabad, Pakistani Ready Garment Association and Pakistani Pharmaceutical Association. Chairman of the FNCCI, human resources development committee Dhruva Kumar Shrestha, press and public relations committee co-chairman Pradip Jung Pandey and executive member of Garment Association of Nepal (GAN), Basu Dev Giri are other members of the delegation.
