Kathmandu, May 9:

Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has formed 15 different

committees and 16 forums to expedite its activities.

These committees include fair and exhibition, industry, productivity and quality, information and communication technology, cottage and small industry, customs and excise duty, local economic development, trade, social services, tax and revenue, tourism and aviation, supply, bank and financial institutions, land transportation and transit and women entrepreneurs development.

AG Sherpa, Ashok Kumar Todi, Bijay Bahadur Shrestha, Birat Thapa, DB Basnet, Dines Shrestha, Kishore Kumar Pradhan, Kumud Kumar Duggar, Lok Bikram Thapa, Pradeep Man Vaidya, BK Shrestha, Chandra Krishna Karmacharya, Pashupati Murarka, Chop Narayan Shrestha and Bhawani Rana lead these committees, respectively.

The new FNCCI team has also formed 16 different forums; political coordination forum headed by Chandi Raj Dhakal, export promotion forum headed by Anup Malla, Lumbini development forum headed by Guna Nidhi Tiwari and hydropower development forum headed by Gyanendra Lal Pradhan.

Likewise, Trade School Forum is to be headed by Ramesh Kumar Piya, Karnali Development Forum by Lanka Man Rokka, Cultural Development Forum by Ashok Sharma, CSR Forum by Umesh Lal Shrestha, Handicraft Promotion Forum by Kalyan Krishna Tamrakar, National Budget Coordination and Monitoring for-um by Jagadish Prasad Rathi, Public Relation by Jeevan Nepal, Janakpur Developm-ent Forum by Nirmal Chaudhary, Inclusive Economic Development Forum by Bijay Saraogi, FNCCI Excellence Award Forum by Saurabh Jyoti, Energy Efficiency and Environment Forum by Sanjay Giri and Infrastructure Development Forum by Sakunta L Hirachan.
