FNCCI shows concern
Kathmandu, September 21:
Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) expressed its serious concern over recent violence erupted after the murder of a local leader Moin Khan in Kapilvastu.
Issuing a press release, FNCCI has expressed its deep sorrow at the loss of lives and properties during the violence in Kapilvastu, Rupandehi districts and surrounding areas. Condemning such inhumane activities, FNCCI has requested all concerned bodies and local people to maintain religious and communal harmony.
Chandi Raj Dhakal, president of FNCCI has requested all concerned authorities, political parties, private sector, civil society and human rights activists to extend their full support in ending the violence as soon as possible. He also said that the apex body of Nepali private sector is ready to provide any kind of support needed.
Stating that dozens of lives and properties worth millions have lost, he asked
the government to play a central role to control the chaos. He also expressed
serious concern over shortage of petroleum products
in the country.
