FNCCI stresses need for peace

The government needs to take the initiative to wipe out the depression economic condition in the country, stated Ravi Bhakta Shrestha, chairman of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) during a seminar held on Friday.
The seminar stressed on creating peaceful environment, which would help to raise the economic condition of the country. The speakers laid emphasis on paying more attention to economic development when the rate of export has spiralled down. Besides maintaining peace and security, they said that business should be allowed to operate without any restrictions in the next budget, according to a FNCCI press release.
Binod Bahadur Shrestha, vice chairman of FNCCI stressed on district city councils and their activities. Second vice chairman of FNCCI Rajendra Kumar Khetan focussed on the participation of private organisations in making of the next budget. The seminar provided associate membership to various companies such as S T Fabric Limited, Dubahi, Himalayan Snacks and Noodles Private Limited, Kavre, Royal Cable Industries Private Limited (Nepalgunj), Siddhartha Finance Limited (Bhairawa), Sirin Garments Private Limited (Kathmandu) and Sumi Distillery Private Limited (Nawalparasi).
