KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 14

Global IME Bank Limited held its 19th Annual General Meeting in Kathmandu on Wednesday, approving an 8 percent cash dividend (including tax) from profits of fiscal year 2081/82 (2024/25).

The AGM endorsed the annual report and consolidated financial statements presented by Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal. The bank recorded an operating profit of Rs 7.23 billion and a net profit of Rs 5.07 billion during the fiscal year.

Chairman Dhakal reaffirmed the bank's commitment to complying with government and Nepal Rastra Bank guidelines while ensuring fair shareholder returns. He also highlighted plans for strategic expansion into new business sectors.

Representatives from NRB, SEBON, NEPSE, shareholders, institutional investors, and stakeholders attended the meeting.
