The downward trend in gold prices continued in the domestic market on Monday, with the price dropping by Rs 600 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 173,500 per tola, down from Rs 174,100 per tola on Sunday. The decline follows last week's historic high of Rs 176,000 per tola.

Meanwhile, the silver price has remained unchanged at Rs 1,980 per tola.
