KATHMANDU, MAY 23
The price of gold in the domestic market dropped by Rs 1,100 per tola on Friday, following a sharp Rs 6,700 increase over the past two days, including a Rs 5,000 spike on Thursday alone.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 190,400 per tola, down from Rs 191,500 per tola on Thursday.
Silver also saw a decline, dropping by Rs 20 per tola. It is now priced at Rs 2,005 per tola, compared to Rs 2,025 per tola the previous day.
