The price of gold in the domestic market declined sharply by Rs 3,000 per tola on Sunday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold fell to Rs 190,700 per tola, down from Rs 193,700 per tola on Friday.
Silver, which had seen a sharp rise of Rs 75 per tola on Friday, also dipped slightly today by Rs 5 per tola, trading at Rs 2,145 per tola, compared to Rs 2,150 per tola previously.
