Silver declines slightly in domestic market

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 3

The price of gold surged by Rs 2,000 per tola on Wednesday, setting a new historic high in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 207,900 per tola, up from Rs 205,900 per tola on Tuesday.

With this, gold has risen by Rs 7,300 per tola in the four days of this week since it crossed the Rs 200,000 mark last Friday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver declined slightly by Rs 5 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 2,480 per tola today, compared to Rs 2,485 per tola on Tuesday.
