Silver also rises by Rs 40 per tola

The price of gold surged to a record high in the domestic market on Sunday, climbing by Rs 2,300 per tola from the previous trading session.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 197,500 per tola, compared to Rs 195,200 per tola on Friday.
Silver prices also witnessed an increase, with the metal trading at Rs 2,350 per tola on Sunday, up by Rs 40 from Rs 2,310 per tola at the end of last week.
