The domestic gold market witnessed a increase on Sunday, with the price of gold per tola rising by Rs 700 per tola, followed by silver, which saw a modest increase of Rs 5 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold has climbed to Rs 125,200 per tola, up from yesterday's rate of Rs 124,500 per tola.

Earlier, gold was trading at Rs 125,800 per tola on Chaitra 1 but experienced a decline of Rs 1,300 per tola, including a drop of Rs 500 per tola on Falgun 5. However, the yellow metal regained some of its lost ground with today's gain.

Similarly, tejabi gold is currently being traded at Rs 124,600 per tola.

In line with this trend, the silver market also experienced an uptick, with the price of silver per tola increasing by Rs 5, following a drop of Rs 10 per tola on Monday. Presently, silver is being traded at Rs 1,525 per tola.
