KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 4

The price of gold has surged by Rs 1,900 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 164,700 per tola, up from Rs 162,800 per tola on Monday. The gold price on Monday remained unchanged from Sunday.

Similarly, the price of silver has also witnessed an increase. It rose by Rs 35 per tola, with silver now being traded at Rs 1,930 per tola, up from Rs 1,895 per tola on Monday.
