The price of gold rose by Rs 700 per tola in the domestic market on Monday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold was traded at Rs 252,900 per tola, up from Sunday's rate of Rs 252,200 per tola.
In contrast, silver prices moved in the opposite direction, declining by Rs 20 per tola. The federation reported that silver traded at Rs 3,585 per tola on Monday, compared to Rs 3,605 per tola on Sunday.
