The price of gold surged by Rs 2,900 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday, following a Rs 1,000 increase on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 192,700 per tola, up from Rs 189,800 on Monday.

Similarly, silver prices also rose by Rs 55 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 1,990 per tola on Monday, reached Rs 2,045 per tola today.
