KATHMANDU, JANUARY 2
Gold price in the domestic market rebounded sharply on Friday, recovering Rs 2,900 per tola after several days of decline that followed its record high of Rs 270,600 per tola on December 28.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 262,500 per tola, up from Rs 259,600 per tola on Thursday. The recent increase marks a partial recovery after the price entered a corrective phase earlier this week.
Silver price also posted gains, rising by Rs 110 per tola on Friday. The white metal is currently being traded at Rs 4,525 per tola, compared to Rs 4,415 per tola on Thursday, the federation said.
