The price of gold increased by Rs 1,000 per tola in the domestic market on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
Fine gold is now being traded at Rs 189,800 per tola, up from Rs 188,800 on Sunday.
Similarly, the price of silver rose by Rs 5 per tola, reaching Rs 1,990 today, compared to Rs 1,985 on Sunday.
