KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 16

The price of gold increased by Rs 400 per tola in the domestic market on Monday, the first day of the Nepali month of Poush.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 151,200 per tola, up from Rs 150,800 per tola on Sunday.

The rise follows a recent decline in gold prices, which had dropped by Rs 3,400 per tola over the last three days.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remains unchanged at Rs 1,840 per tola, maintaining its rate from Sunday.
