KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 16

The domestic market saw a rise in the price of gold by Rs 600 per tola, while silver followed suit with an increase of Rs 35 per tola on Firday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FeNeGoSiDA), the current rate for fine gold stands at Rs 117,100 per tola, showing a modest uptick from Thursday's rate of Rs 116,500 per tola.

The gold price had experienced a total decline of Rs 1,500 per tola within the first two days of the Falgun month, stabilizing on Thursday, whereas silver saw a Rs 10 increase per tola during the same period.

Similarly, tejabi gold is now priced at Rs 116,550 per tola, in comparison from yesterday's figure of Rs 115,950 per tola.

As gold prices rose, so did silver, climbing by Rs 35 to reach Rs 1,410 per tola, a significant increase from Thursday's Rs 1,375 per tola.
