Fine gold jumps Rs 2,200 per tola on Friday; silver also climbs by Rs 65
KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 28
Gold price once again crossed the Rs 250,000-per-tola threshold in the domestic market on Friday, rising by Rs 2,200 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
With the fresh increase, fine gold is being traded at Rs 250,600 per tola, edging closer to the all-time high of Rs 258,800 per tola recorded on Asoj 31. On Thursday, fine gold was priced at Rs 248,400 per tola.
Silver prices also saw an uptick, gaining Rs 65 per tola to reach Rs 3,345 per tola today, up from Rs 3,280 per tola on Thursday.
